The judging took place on Saturday May 14th 2005- we were very lucky that we had the keen input from Peter Blockley (past parish council chairman), Gemma Humphries (Meridian weathergirl and recent Benenden resident) and Alan Covill (vice president Cranbrook and Hawkhurst Rotary Club) who agonised long and hard over the digital photographs that were entered for the competition.
Despite one of the judges withdrawing from the final decision (you'll see why when you look closely at one of the winning photos!) the decision was finally made and the winners were ....

The afternoon was a jolly occasion and thanks go to Mark and Lucy at The Bull for hosting the event. Thanks also to the judges for taking the time and energy to make such a difficult decision.
The proceedings were crowned by Gemma Humphries announcing that she hopes to show the winners and highly commended photos as the backdrop to her broadcast on Meridian on Tuesday evening.
